Voice first
“Hey Siri, play Surah Ar-Rahman in Ayaat”
Ask by surah, by number, or by reciter. Google Assistant handles the same on Android Auto. Hands on the wheel, eyes on the road.
Built for the road
Large targets, shallow menus, and voice everywhere. Everything you need, nothing that pulls your eyes from the road.
Pick up where you stopped
The home screen opens on Continue Listening, reciters you follow, and what is popular this week. One glance, one tap, eyes back on the road.
Loop a surah, keep it in the heart
One tap repeats the full surah for memorization and review. Fine-tune exact verse ranges any time in the app.
Works with no signal
Downloads stay browsable in the parking garage and on remote roads, grouped by reciter, artwork and all.
Your whole library rides along
Liked recitations, playlists, followed reciters, personal imports, downloads, and the Up Next queue: everything from your phone, arranged for the car.
Not working?
Almost every car issue comes down to one of these.
Ayaat does not show up on the car screen
Update Ayaat to the latest version, then unplug and reconnect your phone. On iPhone, also check Settings → General → CarPlay → your car, and make sure Ayaat is added to the CarPlay screen (Screen Time restrictions can hide apps). If it still does not appear, restart your phone, then the car.
Siri or Google Assistant does not understand
End the request with “in Ayaat”, for example “Hey Siri, play Surah Yasin in Ayaat”. You can ask by surah name, surah number, or reciter. Make sure Siri or Google Assistant is enabled on your phone, and that you have opened Ayaat at least once after installing.
Audio cuts out or will not play
On a wired connection, try a different cable; charge-only cables will not carry CarPlay or Android Auto. Check that your phone has signal, or download recitations in the app first so the drive does not depend on coverage. As a last resort, force-quit Ayaat on your phone and reconnect.
My car has no CarPlay or Android Auto
Ayaat still works over Bluetooth or an AUX cable: connect your phone to the car stereo the way you play anything else, then control playback from your phone or from the steering wheel controls. Set up the recitation before you drive.
Still stuck? Reach out to support and we will get you on the road.
Recitation deserves reverence, in the car as anywhere. Ayaat plays recitation and nothing over it: no music beds, no interruptions, real reciters always.
Set up your listening before you drive, and only touch your phone when it is legal and safe to do so.
Already in your pocket
Get Ayaat on your phone and it is on your dash the next time you plug in.
CarPlay works on iOS out of the box. Android Auto comes built into the Android app. Or start listening on the web.
